Ancaster home prices continue to slide in the 3rd quarter from a high reached in the 2nd quarter (April, May 2017) .
Listings are up but the sales and the sale price are slightly down.

The number of listings in Hamilton and area was down from the previous year. The simple rule of supply and demand applies to this housing market and will make prices go up. No listings but high demand for homes coming from buyers entering the market from GTA.
The region of Hamilton-Burlington will lead the country in real estate price growth again in 2017. The 2016 has been record breaking for this region with 20-per-cent year-over-year price growth. We predict that Ancaster real estate prices will continue in the upward trend.
The average existing home price in Hamilton was $493,194 during the first eight months of 2016, in Ancaster $662,172 while in Toronto $717,213.
